We team of Verba Actus "Kenji" had several workshop times toword the public performance on September 2nd.
Last July 25th we practiced fourth time.
Now we have good tension toword the public performance.

Next workshop is on August 8th.
We have two workshops left before the public performance.

SyakuHachi

SyakuHachi is one of Japanese traditional music instruments.

It's name means the long of "one syaku(Japanese feet) and eight sun(Japanese inch). SyakuHachi has one syaku and eight sun long.

We Verva Actus group will invite Shikuu Yano to play the SyakuHachi in our performance "Kenji" at September 2nd in Nagoya.

He will improvise a play instead of playing fixed score.And I will communicate him with playing piano.

Other perfomers will also join us inpromtu.

That's the style of Verva Actus.

As an independed writer "Kenji Miyazawa"

Yesterday, I came to Nagoya for the workshop of our performance "Verba Actus : Kenji".

"Kenji" means the name of Kenji Miyazawa, a famous novelist of Tohoku(north place of main island of Japan).

He was born at 1896, and died at 1933 when he was 37 years old.

He was an independed writer completely. When he was alive, nobody knows his existence. But now every Japanese people know his name, novels and poem.

We will make a stage of Verba Actus with colaged pieces of Kenji's work.

"A Night of the Galaxy Train(Ginga Tetsudo no Yoru)"

"Matasaburo in the Wind(Kaza no Matasaburo)"

"Ame nimo Makezu(a most famous short poem)"

Etcetra...

We will apear September 2nd of this year.

Workshop in Nagoya

In September, we "Verba Actus" group are to give a performance in Nagoya.

We are taking a lesson of that purpose now.

In addition, we recruited performers to join on the stage with us from a commoner widely.

We hold a workshop now in Nagoya.

They are very earnest and can expect a splendid performance in the public performance in September.

I intend to introduce a workshop and performers of the lesson little by little from now on.

By the way, it's very very hot today in Tokyo.

I love summer most. I like hottest summer.

Do you know "Verba Actus"? Of course you don't know it.

So, do you know the situation of the reading art in Japan?

I continued producing audio book and the radio program for a long time, and continued the director of the reading performance.

I think that the reading art is accepted by more Japanese people, and it's very happy that you enjoy it willingly.

Verba Actus is expression art beyond the genre including text reading, music, stage drama, and visual art.
